The Association has partnered with Medical Mutual of Ohio to expand the geographic reach and discounts on claims for members.  The Network arrangement is a 100% pass through discount plan.  This means the full discount is provided to members.

Medical Mutual of Ohio and their SuperMed Plus Network is the largest network in Ohio.  The PEBA Plans are Fully Insured, yet provide individual groups the ability to implement Alternative Funding Options to best meet their needs. The PEBA Plans are less Risky and more Stable than Self Funding.  PEBA drives down the Fixed Expense of providing Employee Benefit for all size public entities in Ohio.

Dental POS Network Advantage

Members receive the highest level of coverage from Delta Dental PPO (PPO) dentists. Delta Dental will pay PPO dentists directly based on their submitted fee or the amount in their local Delta Dental’s PPO dentist schedule, whichever is less. If the PPO dentist schedule amount for a covered service is lower than the dentist’s submitted fee, the dentist cannot charge members the difference.

Unlike retail chains, VSP private-practice doctors are  also small business owners.  Like any business owner  they have a vested interest  in keeping their customers  happy and satisfied. The  result is a high-quality  personalized eye care  experience with great savings  only a VSP private-practice  doctor can deliver.
